This resurfacing project, with traffic signal improvements, and associated improvements at 16th Street from Harlem Avenue (IL 43) to Lombard Avenue is a continued initiative to improve the infrastructure throughout the community.
This project will be funded by a combination of Congestion Mitigation Air Quality (CMAQ) funds and Surface Transportation Program Urban (STU) funds provided by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and local funds provided by the City of Berwyn.
This street corridor improvements will incorporate green infrastructure as recommended in the City’s Management Plan (July 2018).
